Hydraulic Actuators
EA specializes in primary flight controls of fixed and rotary-wings aircraft.
An example is the rotor actuator where the typical helicopter set comprise three actuators to control the main rotors and one actuator for the tail rotor.
The Indian State Company HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd) is one of the main customers. By working in close contact with HAL RWRDC (Rotary Wing Research and Design Center), EA designed and qualified its products to fit three platforms: Advanced (ALH), Light Combat Helicopter (LCH), and Light Utility Helicopter (LUH).
The actuators are duplex tandem, electro-hydraulic type in the case of ALH and LCH with integrated CSAS, duplex tandem hydraulic type in LUH. After qualification completion, EA covers the full-rate production and MRO services. EA can also develop its own Special-To-Type test equipment (STTE), including H/W and S/W.
