Gyroscopes
EA offers design and manufacturing services for gyroscopes equipped with MEMS sensors.
The long tradition of designing and manufacturing gyros started in the 1970s with Dynamically Turned Gyros. They were labeled as G-Family (as displayed in the list below) and used in land, air, and naval application.

More recently, the pieces of equipment have been built using MEMS sensors.
The 3-axis Skyward Gyro System is a MEMS-based Angular Rate Sensor Unit (this FLIR system is the Swedish fighter Gripen ) that is also used to stabilize aircraft, tank turrets, torpedos, and more in general for step-down INS (inertial navigation systems) and stabilization systems.
